The Pharmacy Board of Australia has published three oral examination periods for 2026. Applications close well before each period, so the closing date is the date to plan around.

| Oral examination period | Applications open | Applications close | |---|---|---| | 2 February to 27 February 2026 | 16 November 2025 | 19 December 2025 | | 1 June to 26 June 2026 | 2 March 2026 | 10 April 2026 | | 5 October to 30 October 2026 | 29 June 2026 | 31 July 2026 |

A few practical points:

  • Examinations are not necessarily held on every day in the published period.
  • Dates can differ between locations, so candidates need to remain available across the relevant window.
  • Candidates are allocated a date and time after applications close and are generally notified by email.
  • Pharmacy interns must meet the current eligibility requirements, including the supervised-practice threshold.
  • Use the current application form and follow the submission instructions published by Ahpra.

Dates and application arrangements can change. Always check the official Pharmacy Board registration examination page before submitting an application or making travel arrangements.

Official information: The current Pharmacy Board registration examination page and candidate guide take priority over third-party preparation material.
