When are pharmacy oral exam results released?
The candidate guide explains that intern oral examination results must be ratified by the Board or its delegate. This can occur some days after an individual candidate sits the exam, and results cannot be released before ratification.
Candidates are advised at the examination of the date results will be issued. Because the timing is linked to ratification, two candidates who sit on different days within the same examination period should not assume an immediate result after their individual session.
How do you receive your result?
All candidates are notified by email under the current candidate guide. Results are not provided by telephone, and the guide asks candidates not to contact Ahpra offices seeking earlier release.

What happens if you pass?
Passing the oral examination is one component of the pathway to general registration. You still need to meet the other Pharmacy Board requirements applying to you, including the relevant supervised-practice, intern-training and written-examination requirements before general registration can be granted.

What happens if you are unsuccessful?
The current candidate guide says unsuccessful candidates are invited to an examination feedback meeting to receive a verbal account of the reasons for the examiners' decision. Attendance is strongly encouraged so the candidate can understand the performance gaps and prepare for another attempt.

There is little value in repeatedly checking or trying to predict the result. Keep your registration details current, continue supervised practice as required and retain your normal study and professional-development routine until the result is issued.
